FAQ

Landscape Supply + Delivery

We can supply all types of landscape material from 1 yard to 100 yards. Single axle can hold a maximum of 7.5 Tonnes (14 yards) of material. Triaxles can hold a maximum of 20 Tonnes and must be booked 24 hours in advance.
There is a delivery fee plus the cost of material. Standard delivery charge for single axle truck within the City of London is $90.00 + HST and fuel surcharge. Material prices: [topsoil | aggregate | mulch], large load, outside city limits, wholesale inquiries please email delivery@liftedtrucking.com for pricing.

Unfortunately not. We do not have a retail location as we are not a landscape supply yard, we are a trucking company offering delivery services.

Use our calculator tool found here. Depth in inches = D Lenght in feet = L Width in feet = W = D/12 x L x W/27 For example if you want 4” of mulch on a garden that is 6’ wide and 12’ long the calculation would be as follows: = 4/12 x 6 x 12 /27 = 0.333 x 6 x 12 /27 = 0.889 yards To be safe we would suggest ordering 1 yard.

Waste Bins

Lifted Trucking will dispose of most non-hazardous materials such as construction debris, demolition, or renovation debris, yard trimmings, green waste, household junk, appliances, furniture, scrap metal, sod, rocks, gravel, cement, and any odds and ends.

There are some materials that we cannot take. These include; but are not limited to, hazardous materials such as: chemicals, gasoline, oils, solvents, car batteries, asbestos, propane tanks, paint or paint cans, household waste, such as diapers and chicken bones or any type of toxic or biological waste.

We also do NOT take freon based appliances which include air conditioning units – freezers – coolers – refrigerators

Any civic or environmental charges on such materials are the sole responsibility of the client; therefore we recommend that you safeguard your bin and monitor the contents accordingly.

Please ensure all vehicles are cleared from the site and there are no power lines above where you would like the bin. We always put down wood as to not damage where the bin is being set. Additional protection is always welcome. Please talk to the driver when they arrive.

Only with the proper permits, certain local governments allow bins to be placed on the street while others do not. The City of London requires a “Permit for Approved Works”. More information is available on the City of London website or call them at (519) 661-4500. Outside of London, call your local city or town hall.

Storage Containers

Yes, once you lock your container [customer supplied lock] your belonging remain secure.
Yes, but only when you rent a Contractor Grade container are you able to store items like lawn mowers, cars, generators, engines and construction materials. If you rent a Homeowner Grade container you can only store household items; like furniture, you cannot contaminate the container with hazardous type items.

Float Services

We strive to pickup items as soon as we can. When discussing your requirements we will be able to give you a timeframe right away. Sometimes it can be done in the same day.
At this time we are sticking with legal width items of 8’6” wide. We plan on expanding this option in the future!
There is no minimum charge. We bill from leaving our yard, to return. We don’t waste time, and get the job done as quickly and safely as possible.

Hauling Aggregate

Our triaxles can carry 20-21 Tonnes and our single axle can carry up to 7.5 Tonnes.

Triaxles need at least 24 hours notice.  The more notice the better as these trucks are in high demand.  From time to time we work with other partner companies to ensure your needs are taken care of.  We are still available with one phone call to deal with anything that comes up.

We cannot haul hazardous material, food or human waste or hot asphalt.

Hauling Snow

No, we do not directly offer snow plowing services. We provide trucks and equipment to relocate or remove piles of built up snow from your property. We often work with our affiliate All Terrain Propery Maintence who provides complete grounds maintenance services — check them out here for your snow plowing needs.
